Regulations for the circulation of pedal-assisted bicycles in the Valentino Park

This regulation governs the use of pedal-assisted and motor-powered wheelchairs within Valentino Park, in order to:
* ensure the safety of users and pedestrians;
* ensure inclusive and sustainable mobility;
* regulate civil and financial liabilities related to the use of the vehicle;
* protect public and private property.
Vehicles powered primarily by motor-powered vehicles, with or without electric assistance, comply with the regulations for pedal-assisted bicycles set forth in the Italian Highway Code.
This regulation complies with:
* the Highway Code (Legislative Decree 285/1992);
* the related Implementing Regulation;
* the provisions on civil liability pursuant to Articles 2043 and 2050 of the Italian Civil Code;
* the provisions regarding civil liability insurance;
* the municipal regulations and regulations for public green spaces of the City of Turin.
Area of ​​Use
The use of wheelchair-assisted bicycles is permitted only:
* on paved or specifically authorized paths;
* during times established by the operator.
Ride is prohibited:
* on grassy areas;
* in congested pedestrian areas;
* during events or demonstrations where ordered by the competent authority.
User Requirements
The user must:
* be at least 18 years old;
* be in suitable physical and mental condition;
* comply with the Highway Code and the provisions of this regulation.
It is prohibited:
* driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
* using smartphones or devices that distract while driving;
The user must maintain a speed appropriate to pedestrian traffic conditions.
Pedestrians always have priority.
Third-Party Liability
The user is responsible for damage caused to persons or property while using the vehicle pursuant to Article 2043 of the Italian Civil Code and applicable regulations.

Liability for Damage to the Vehicle
The user is responsible for damage caused to the vehicle in cases of:
* improper use;
* negligence, distraction;
* violation of the regulations;
* use not in accordance with the instructions received.
Security Deposit
The operator may require:
* security deposit;
* maximum deductible;
* predetermined and transparent penalties.
Accidents and Claims
In the event of an accident:
1. the user must stop immediately;
2. provide assistance if necessary;
3. contact the operator;
4. request the intervention of the authorities if there are injuries;
Finements and Suspension of Service
Failure to comply with the regulations may result in:
* a warning;
* temporary suspension;
* exclusion from the service;
* claim for damages.
This does not affect any penalties provided for by the Highway Code.
Protection of the Park's Heritage
It is prohibited to:
* damage the park's greenery;
* leave the authorized routes;
* abandoning the vehicle in unauthorized areas.
The user and operator are liable for any environmental or property damage caused.

Jurisdiction
Court of Turin
